Specifying default languages
You can specify a source and target language that are always selected when you create a new translation.
About this task
The settings determine:
- What default source and target languages are used for all new translations. This enables you to quickly start a new translation if you use the same source and target languages for all your translations
- Whether or not you are prompted to specify a source and target language when creating a new translation
Procedure
- Go to from the Ribbon.
- In the Options dialog, in the navigation tree, select . The language settings are displayed on the right.
- Under Default Languages, select your default source and target languages. Default selections for these languages are not required and can be changed when you create a translation if the Prompt for document languages if they cannot be detected automatically checkbox is selected.
- Select OK to save the settings and to close the Options dialog.
