Unpublishing a project from SDL Trados GroupShare

: You can unpublish a project from the SDL Trados GroupShare Project Server if the project is complete and you want to free up space for other projects, if the project is canceled or if you published the project to the wrong server.

Before you begin

All project files must exist locally on your computer so that a local copy of the project is preserved when the project is deleted from the Project Server. To download the files, use the Check Out or Get Latest Version commands.

About this task

When you unpublish a project from the Project Server, all the project files on the server are removed, but all the copies of the files which a user stores locally are kept.

Procedure

  1. In the Projects view, right-click on the project you want to delete from the server and select Unpublish Project.
  2. Click Yes in the dialog to unpublish the project from the server.
  3. If you also want to remove it from the list in SDL Trados Studio, right-click and select Remove from List. The project is now removed from the SDL Trados Studio list but remains on your computer.
