Audience Manager and Outbound E-mail file system permissions

This topic lists the file system settings per directory for Audience Manager and Outbound E-mail.

Note that WebUsers refers to the users of SDL Tridion (Authenticated Users group), and %TRIDION_ROOT% refers to the root location of the SDL Tridion installation (defaults to C:\Program Files\Tridion or C:\Program Files (x86)\Tridion).

Log file location (this location is configurable).
Import folder (for example, C:\ProgramData\SDL\Upload)Read and Write access for the user oesystem and any users of the API.Location of files used to import Contacts or Keywords in the API. When importing through the GUI, the configured Upload directory is used instead.
Mailing Queue folder (for example, C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup)Read and Write access for the users oebounce and oemailer.Generated e-mails are stored here for processing by your SMTP server.
Alternative folder for the MaxEmailsInQueueFolder settingRead access for the user oemailer.If configured, the Mailer service will check the number of items in this folder when limiting the amount of e-mails to send at a given time (flood control).
