This section describes Content Delivery subsystems and services running on a Microsoft Windows System.

Account Description tcddeployerService account for the Deployer service tcdcachingService account for the Caching service - Content Deployer
- Content Deployer is an optional service (deployment can also be achieved using batch scripts or commands).
- Content Broker
- Content Broker is a set of APIs. The calls to the API are made from the Web server on the Content Delivery site.
- WAI
- The WAI (Web and Application Server Integration) is a set of APIs. The calls to the API are made from the Web server on the Content Delivery site.
- Linking
- Linking is a set of APIs. The calls to the API are made from the Web server on the Content Delivery site.
- Object cache

Only on Windows, the Object Cache operates as a service. Within UNIX, this happens in an application server/Java process. The user running the service will be referenced as
tcdcaching. The Object Cache provides no external functionality, and only serves to enhance the performance of the other functional areas of the Content Delivery platform.
