Publisher settings
You can control publish settings in the Publisher section of SDL Tridion Content Manager configuration.
Procedure
- Start the MMC Snap-in by selecting Programs > SDL Tridion > SDL Tridion Content Manager configuration in the Microsoft Windows Start menu.
- Navigate to the Publisher settings section.
- Configure the following settings:
Setting Value Activate logging of publisher actions - true
- the Publisher logs its actions to the log directory
- false
- (default) Publisher actions are not logged
Number of threads for deploying The number of threads that connect to the deployment queue (defaults to 1). This setting is only used for scheduled deployment and should remain set to its default value unless you have a pressing reason to change it. Number of threads for rendering The number of threads that connect to the publishing queue (defaults to 1). Root storage folder The folder that stores the package that the Publisher creates for the Transport Service (defaults to the folder c:\temp\). - Restart IIS and COM+ to ensure updated settings are used—for performance reasons, the processes that use the MMC Snap-in settings cache them in memory.
