TranslatingItemsInaDifferentPublication.cs

The TranslatingItemsInaDifferentPublication.cs plugin demonstrates how to start translations from a Publication that is not configured for translations.

For example, if you have a Publication in the Web site level of a Blueprint that is enabled for inline editing with Experience Manager, but is not configured for translations, the plugin allows you to start translations from here even though the configured Publications are located higher up in the Blueprint structure.

For example, in the following Blueprint, the Dutch Web Site Publication is not configured for translation, but it is editable (meaning it is the interface from which content editors work). Its parent Publications are configured as the source and target of a translation (from English to Dutch). Using the plugin, when the user selects an item in the Web site Publication, the Translate option appears in the context menu and selecting the option adds the corresponding item from the Dutch Publication to the job.
