Configuring the review summary

Setting up the review summary in Collaborative Review requires that you enable it then specify the status change you want to have performed on the reviewed topics.

About this task

The review summary allows reviewers to browse through the topics that need their review, and change the status of those topics after review. The configuration lets you specify the status you want the reviewed topics to be moved to, in accordance with your particular Workflow.

Procedure

  1. In Manage Application > Global config, scroll down to the Customized Config section.
  2. Set the workflow.review.enabled option to yes. If this option is not in the list, create it by using Add Item.
This enables the Review summary list in the landing page, and also the review controls associated with it (Previous and Next buttons) and the properties tab.
  3. Set the workflow.status.approve option to the status you want the topic to be moved to when the review is complete and the content approved. It has to be a status of the "Released" type. If the status you configure is of a "Draft" type, the Review completed button will appear at the top of the Review summary but will have no effect.
