Viewing the original content to which you submitted an annotation
After an annotation has been submitted, the content to which the annotation applied may change: maybe the annotated content gets fixed, modified or removed. Review Space makes a best effort to do position recovery, that is, to make the annotation point to the same position in the content as much as possible, even as that content changes. If it cannot find even a position, the annotation is attached to the content item as a whole. Despite such best efforts, it can still be hard to see what your annotation originally referred to. This is why you can see the content as it was when the annotation was submitted, by selecting View original to open a dialog that shows you the content at the time of annotation.
