Initiative Assets Overview

The Initiative Assets Overview page provides statistics on Components, Multimedia Components, Pages, and SmartTarget Promotions used as Initiative Assets.

The following statistics are displayed for Initiative Assets:

Initiative Asset <name and tcm:uri>
The Initiative Asset table shows the following Asset statistics:
  • Name—the name of the Asset.
  • Type—whether the Asset is a Component, Multimedia Component, Page, or SmartTarget Promotion.
  • Downloads (for Multimedia Components only)—the number of times the media was downloaded.
  • Visits (% of Total Initiative Visits)—the number and percentage of visits to the Initiative who visited this Asset.
  • Reached Target Asset—the number and percentage of visits who reached the Target Asset (directly, or via other Assets) after visiting this Asset.
  • Dropped Out—the number and percentage of visits who left the Initiative (directly or indirectly) after visiting this Asset.
  • Success Rate—the number and percentage of visits that completed the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.
  • Failure Rate—the number and percentage of visits that failed to complete the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.
Top Entry Assets
The Top Entry Assets table shows statistics of the most successful Entry Assets that were entry points for accessing (directly of indirectly) the current Initiative Asset:
  • Name—the name of the Entry Asset.
  • Type—whether the Entry Asset is a Component, Multimedia Component, Page, SmartTarget Promotion, or External Entry Asset.
  • Visits—the number of visits to the Initiative who visited this Asset.
  • Reached Current Asset—the number and percentage of visits who reached this Asset (directly, or via other Assets).
  • Reached Target Asset—the number and percentage of visits who reached the Target Asset (directly, or via other Assets) after visiting this Asset.
  • Success Rate—the number and percentage of visits that completed the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.
  • Failure Rate—the number and percentage of visits that failed to complete the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.
Target Asset Statistics
The Target Asset Statistics table shows:
  • Name—the name of the Target Asset.
  • Goal Type—whether the goal is a Downloads, Lead Generation, or Brand Awareness goal.
  • Visits—the number of visits to the Initiative who visited this Asset.
  • Successful Visits to Target Asset—the number of visits to the Initiative who visited and completed the goal (for a brand awareness goal, Visits and Successful Visits are equal).
  • Success Rate—the number and percentage of visits that completed the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.
  • Failure Rate—the number and percentage of visits that failed to complete the Initiative goal after visiting this Asset.

SmartTarget Promotion statistics

SmartTarget Promotions define what content should be displayed in a SmartTarget region of a Web page and when. The content displayed in the Promotion to a Web site visitor depends on factors such as their user profile, the type of Page they are viewing, what content they are searching for and so on.

In addition to the Entry Asset Statistics and Target Asset Statistics described above, the following statistics are displayed for SmartTarget Promotions used as regular Assets in an Initiative:

Top Component Presentations Displayed in the Promotion
The Top Component Presentations Displayed in the Promotion table shows the Component Presentations that were displayed most frequently in the Promotion:
  • Name—the Component name and tcm:uri, and the Component Template name and tcm:uri.
  • Times Displayed—the number of times the Component was displayed.
  • Success Rate—the number and percentage of visits that saw the Promotional content and completed the Initiative goal.
  • Failure Rate—the number and percentage of visits that saw the Promotional content and failed to complete the Initiative goal.
Top Pages that Displayed the Promotion
Promotions define what content should be displayed in a SmartTarget region of a Web page and when. The Top Pages that Displayed the Promotion table shows the Pages that displayed the Promotion the most frequent:
  • Name—the Page name and tcm:uri.
  • Times Displayed—the number of times the Page was displayed.
  • Success Rate—the number and percentage of visits that viewed the Page and completed the Initiative goal.
  • Failure Rate—the number and percentage of visits that viewed the Page and failed to complete the Initiative goal.
