Online Marketing Dashboard
The Control Room screen in the Content Manager Explorer allows you to keep track of all the Initiatives in the system. It provides you with general statistics about the performance of Initiatives and detailed statistics about the performance of individual Assets. You can filter the list of Initiatives displayed according to: the Publications they are in, status (finished, current, planned, or not defined), and a specific time period.
About this task
To view statistics for Initiatives in the Online Marketing Dashboard:
Procedure
- Access the Content Manager Explorer.
- In the slide-out navigation (available through the top left button), the Control Room screen displays information about Initiatives.
By default, the Control Room displays current, finished and planned Initiatives this week. - Click Show Filter Options to view the filters you can apply to Initiatives displayed in the Control Room screen:
- Filter by Publication
- Select the Publication or Publications for which you want to see results.
- Filter Initiatives

Select Initiatives based on the following status:
- Select Current to show active Initiatives.
- Select Finished to show Initiatives that ended This week, This week & last week, Last 4 weeks, or select Set Date Range to specify a specific period.
- Select Planned to show Initiatives that will begin This week, This week & next week, Next 4 weeks, or select Set Date Range to specify a specific period.
- Select Not defined to show Initiatives which have been partly defined but require one or more of the following conditions to be applied to become operational: a start and end date defined, a goal set, tracking enabled.
- When you have selected filters, click Apply Filter to retrieve and display Initiatives that match the filter.
- Click Load more Initiatives to load the following 8 Initiatives. The button disappears when all Initiatives for the current filter are on display. Note that Initiatives in Child Publications are displayed before Initiatives in Parent Publications.
- The following statistics are displayed for Initiatives:
- Finished Initiatives

The following statistics are displayed for Finished Initiatives:
- Start date and end date.
- A bar graph showing total visits and leads generated, downloads achieved, or number of views.
- A line graph that showing visits over time to the Initiative.
- A line graph that showing visits achieving the goal over time.
- Conversion rate (ratio of visits to leads, downloads, or views).
- Active Initiatives

The following statistics are displayed for Active Initiatives:
- Percentage progress.
- Start date and end date.
- A bar graph showing total visits and leads generated, downloads achieved, or number of views.
- A line graph that showing visits over time to the Initiative.
- A line graph that showing visits achieving the goal over time.
- Conversion rate (ratio of visits to leads, downloads, or views).
- Planned Initiatives

The following statistics are displayed for Planned Initiatives:
- Start date and end date.
- Duration.
- Countdown to when the Initiative starts.
- Initiative goal (number of leads, downloads, or views to be achieved)
- Select an Initiative to view the Initiative Properties on the right-hand side of the screen:
- Click Show Detailed Initiative Statistics to open the Initiative in the Reports screen of the Online Marketing Explorer user interface.
- Click Open Initiative to open the Initiative in the Online Marketing Explorer user interface.
- Click Initiative Reports Show > to view the reports that have been generated for the Initiative:
- Select a report and click Open Report to view the report in Online Marketing Explorer.
- Select a report and click Download Report to save a PDF of the report to your file system.
- Click Show Details in an Initiative to view details about Assets used in a specific Initiative. The following information is displayed:
- Initiative Overall Statistics
- Displays statistics for an Initiative such as status, conversion rate, average time spent visiting an Initiative Asset and visits over time (the statistics vary depending on the status of the Initiative).
- Most Successful Entry Assets
- You can view the Entry Assets that resulted in the most visitor journeys completing the goal of the Initiative.
- Least Successful Entry Assets
- You can view the Entry Assets that resulted in the least number of visitor journeys completing the goal of the Initiative.
- Assets with the Highest Drop Out Rate
- You can view the Initiative Assets where visitor journeys ended the most frequently.
- SmartTarget Promotions
- If used, you can view the SmartTarget Promotions used in the Initiative—as Entry Assets and Initiative Assets—and success rates.
- Target Assets Statistics Over Time
- You can view line charts showing the visits to the Initiative over time and successful visits to the Target Asset over time.
