What's new in Online Marketing Explorer 2011 SP1
This section describes what is new and what has changed in SDL Tridion Online Marketing Explorer 2011 SP1.
- Entry Asset Query Builder
The Entry Asset Query Builder provides a user-friendly interface to define queries for external Entry Assets. Use the Entry Asset Query Builder to modify Predefined Entry Assets or create and define your own Custom Entry Assets. - Predefined Entry Assets
Online Marketing Explorer now provides predefined Entry Assets available when you create Initiatives. Users can add these Assets to an Initiative and then modify them using the Entry Asset Query Builder. Implementers can also create Predefined Entry Assets for system-wide use. - SmartTarget support
If you have SDL SmartTarget installed, you can now use SmartTarget promotions as Assets in Initiatives. - Downloads Initiative Goal
You can now specify the number of times a Multimedia Component was downloaded as the goal of an Initiative. If you use Multimedia Components as a normal Content Asset, you can turn download tracking off. - Online Marketing Dashboard
The Control Room screen in the Content Manager Explorer allows you to keep track of all the Initiatives in the system. It provides you with general statistics about the performance of Initiatives and detailed statistics about the performance of individual Assets. You can filter the list of Initiatives displayed according to: the Publications they are in, status (finished, current, planned, or not defined), and a specific time period. - Online Marketing Explorer Message Center
To provide information, issue warnings and report errors, Online Marketing Explorer uses the Message Center. - Performance improvements
The performance of Online Marketing Explorer during the aggregation and synchronization of data, as well as when generating reports, has been improved significantly. - Application monitoring
You can now monitor the status of the following Online Marketing Explorer processes: - Changes to Web tracking configuration
The following properties have been added toTridion.Aggregation.configfor Web tracking: - Changes to LDAP and SSO configuration
Tridion.OnlineMarketing.configis a new configuration file for configuring network authentication for SSO or LDAP. - Changes to activating Initiatives
You can now activate Tracking in Initiatives in Child Publications, provided you have the necessary rights and permissions. - Changes to purging of tracking data
You can now manually purge tracking data for Initiatives that are not Live. Previously, tracking data was only deleted when you deleted the Initiative. - Changes to database creation

The usability of the Online Marketing Explorer reporting module has been improved to make the Reports generated for Initiatives clearer to read. - Aggregation Service and Tracking Service 64-bit compliance
The Aggregation Service and Tracking Service are 64-bit compliant, meaning you can run them in 32-bit or 64-bit mode. - Resolved issues
