In Content Manager Explorer, specify the Safeguard API key and select one or more Publications for which you want enable Safeguard. To specify the API key, you must be an administrator-level user; to select Publications, you must be an administrator-level user or a user with Publication Administration rights.
Procedure
- If you do not yet have a Safeguard API key, obtain one from http://dev.activestandards.com/.
- Access the Content Manager Explorer website.
- Access the slide-out navigation at top left.
- Select Settings
The Settings screen appears.
- Select Safeguard.
A list of Safeguard configuration items appears.
- Select General Safeguard settings.
A General Safeguard settings area slides into view on the right.
- Under Safeguard API key, specify your Safeguard API key and select Apply changes.
The item Safeguard settings for Publications becomes enabled.
- Select Safeguard settings for Publications.
A list of Publications that can be published to appears.
- Select a Publication that you want to use Safeguard with.
A Safeguard Publication properties area slides into view on the right.
- Select a Safeguard website ID to associate with this Publication.
The Safeguard website ID code appears as a read-only field that you can copy.
- Select Apply changes to confirm your changes.
- Repeat steps 9-11 to associate more Publications with Safeguard website IDs.
