FTP protocol
This protocol uses FTP to send a Transport Package to a Presentation Server and has the following fields:
- Host
- IP address or host name of the FTP server
- Port
- Port number of the FTP server
- UserName
- Username to authenticate against the FTP server
- Password
- Password to authenticate against the FTP server
- Location
- the relative path to which the FTP Sender copies the Transport Package. This path is monitored by the Content Deployer which retrieves and transports the Transport Package. The path is relative to the FTP root and should include forward slashes ('/') at the beginning and end. For example, if you want to send content to c:\inetpub\ftproot\destination\, fill in /destination/ in the Location field.
- Connection mode
- The way in which a connection to the FTP server is made: either Active mode or Passive mode This option defaults to Passive mode (the blank option).
