Connector for Marketo usage in Content Manager
The Connector for Marketo enables Content Manager users to access the forms created and managed in Adobe Marketo Engage and use them to build publishable Tridion Sites Pages.
Use Marketo forms on Tridion Sites Pages
Through the different Content Manager user interfaces, editors and other end users can access the Marketo forms and use them on Tridion Sites webpages. The Connector for Marketo appears in Experience Space like a normal external folder where each folder contains Marketo folders and forms. The following screen capture illustrates an example registration form selected in Experience Space:
The following screen capture illustrates the same example form when added to a Page through the Experience Manager user interface:
Tridion SitesOn the left is the Page in edit mode with the form added to the bottom of an existing Page. On the right is the same Page in preview mode and where the user has selected the German region, illustrating, how the connector uses BluePrinting in Tridion Sites to expose the appropriate localized versions of the form. Note that the forms themselves remain edited in Marketo's form designer.
Publish content from to Marketo
Content Manager users can also publish localized Tridion Sites Components to Marketo. The following screen capture illustrates one such Component that has been published ane previewed in Marketo:
You can publish one or more of the Component's available languages and each becomes available in Marketo as a localized HTML snippet. Images used by the Components are also available, as shown in the next illustration:
Show personalized content using Marketo lead data
When a website visitor submits a form, Marketo creates a lead in its Marketo database. This happens also when the form is used on a Tridion Sites Page. The lead (a "Person") in Marketo can be edited and assigned a "Person Score" and this score. In Tridion Sites, you can use this score to trigger personalization of the Tridion Sites website. This feature works with the optional Experience Optimization feature.
