Contact Triggers
Contact Triggers include details on known Contact as well as Segments. You can use data stored on Contacts, such as interests, preferences and characteristics, as Triggers for personalized or marketing content.
A Contact contains details of an actual person or organization. Contacts are stored in Address Books.
The following table describes Contact details that are commonly used.

Contact - Identification Source | The shared portion of the unique ID of a website visitor, used to identify some common characteristic of contacts, such as a company brand or the method used to create the contact. The purpose of the source depends on the implementation. | |
| Contact - Keywords | The interests, preferences, or characteristics of the of the website visitor as encapsulated in Keywords | |
| Contact - Prefix | The title or prefix or title associated with the website visitor's name | |
| Contact - Segments | The Segments (one or more) that describe the website visitor A Segment defines Contact preferences, interests, and characteristics that represent a target audience of known Contacts accessing content on your websites. | |
