Creating a Child Publication
In the BluePrint viewer, you can select a Publication in the BluePrint and create a new Child Publication. After you have created a Child Publication, it is only possible to add additional Parent Publications that share the same primary Parent Publication.
Before you begin
To create a Child Publication, you require a Child Publication Creation Privilege. To delete Publications, you require a System Administration Privilege. To otherwise modify a Publication or BluePrint, you need Publication Management rights.
Procedure
- Open Content Manager Explorer.
- In the Publications navigation pane, select the Content Management node.
- In the list view, select a Publication.
- Open the Ribbon toolbar Organize tab and click BluePrint Hierarchy .
- Select a Publication.
- In the Home tab of the BluePrint Viewer, click Create New Child.
- Create a Publication called, for example,
01_Italy. - Click Save and Close.
