Create a custom Approval Status so that you can associate it with an Activity in a Workflow Process Definition. Any item that finishes the Activity then gets the Approval Status. Approval Statuses are system-wide and can be used in any Process Definition.
Before you begin
To create an Approval Status you must have Workflow Management rights.
Procedure
- Access the Content Manager Explorer website.
- Open the Ribbon toolbar Workflow tab and click Open approval status list.
The Approval Status List window opens.
- Click the Add button.
- Type the value of the Approval Status you want to add and click OK.
The Approval Status is added to the bottom of the list.
- If you want to change the position of the new Approval Status, select it and click Move Up, or Move Down.
- Click OK to save the changes.
Results
An Approval Status is added to the Content Manager.
