Creating basic organizational items

If your new Publication is not a child Publication, SDL recommends to create a basic folder structure in the Publication to store your Templates, Pages and so on. You do not need to create this structure if you do not want to.

Procedure

  1. Select your new Publication in the panel on the left and in the Create tab, select New Structure Group.
  2. Set Name to Root and select Save and Close.
  3. In the Publications panel, expand your Publication and select Building Blocks.
  4. In the Create tab, select New Folder. Set Name to System and select Save and Close.
  5. In the same way, create additional Folders to create the following Folder structure under Building Blocks:
