Custom Pages

Use Custom Pages to provide users with access to specific Web Pages. A Custom Page is a hyperlink to any URL. All users can access the Custom Page node and view any Custom Page.

You can use Custom Pages to perform specific operations in the Content Manager that are not supported by the standard user interface. For example, you can create a Custom Page that interacts with the Core Service to automate Page creation.

The default Custom Page appears in the list view when a User goes to the Content Manager Explorer Web site, unless that user has explicitly select a different start location.

If no default Custom Page is specified and the user has also not selected a start location, the list of Publications is initially displayed.
