Default Process Definitions

When you create a Publication, Content Manager creates a default Process Definition called Task Process. You can use it as a sample or as a starting point for your own Process Definitions.

The Task Process Process Definition can be used for Tasks, that is, simple Processes which by default consist only of an execution Activity and a review Activity. Moreover, if end users create a Task in Content Manager Explorer or in Experience Manager, they can attach no items to it.

Creating a new Publication only creates this default Process Definition if the Publication is not a Child Publication. If it is a Child Publication, it inherits the default Process Definition from its Parent Publication.
