Format area configurations
You can configure content language, styles, and special characters for format areas.
Note: If changes to these settings do not appear to end users in the GUI (for example, if a newly added style does not appear in the list of Allowed Styles), authors may need to clear their Temporary Internet Files. Alternatively, in Internet Information Services (IIS), you can enable the content expiration for affected files or the Web folder <Web Root>/Configuration , where <Web Root> is the root folder of your Content Manager Explorer Web site.
- Content language configuration
You determine the list of languages that are available in a Set Language dialog by adding languages in the ContentLanguages.xml file. - Configuring styles
You can configure the system-wide cascading style sheet (CSS) for use in format area fields inFormatAreaStyles.css. - Special character configuration
You can specify the special characters that content authors can insert into a format area field in the SpecialCharacters.xml file.
