Managing Promotions and Experiments
Use Experience Manager for validating and fine-tuning Promotions and Experiments are displayed as intended to website visitors.
- Limitations working with Page Regions
Fredhopper displays the contents of its region dynamically based on promotional criteria. You therefore cannot interact with the Page Region as you could with other parts of the Web page. - Editing Page Region Contents
In the Experience Manager, open the webpage properties in the top right corner see the Page Regions available on the page. For each region you can drill down to view and edit the Promotions and Experiments, and Content and Content Variants, available for that region. - Editing Experiments inline
In Experience Manager, open the webpage properties in the top right corner see the Page Regions available on the page. For each region you can drill down to view the Experiments and Content Variants available for that region. - Adding Experiments inline
In Experience Manager, you can add Experiments to Page Regions. You can only add one Experiment per Page Region per time period (start date and end date). - Editing targeting content inline
You can edit the content used in Promotions and scheduled Experiments inline in Experience Manager. - Viewing Promotion content for a persona
A persona encapsulates a target demographic defined using fictional Contacts. You can apply a persona to content to view what a webpage would look like through the eyes of different visitors. - Viewing Promotion contents for a Footprint Set
A Footprint is a specific property of a browsing session, such as the browser being used or geographic location from which the webpage is accessed. A Footprint Set defines a set of conditions (Footprints) you can apply to content to see what a webpage would look like to a visitor if those conditions were applied.
