Reassigning Workflow Activities

From the Content Manager Explorer slide-out navigation Activities screen, you can reassign any assigned or started Workflow Activity to any Group or User.

Procedure

  1. Access the Content Manager Explorer website.
  2. Select the slide-out navigation button at top left, and select Activities.
  3. In the Workflow Activities screen that appears, do one of the following:
    • To reassign a Workflow Activity that has not been picked up yet, select Assigned Activities.
    • To reassign a Workflow Activity that was already picked up by a User, select Started Activities.
  4. From the list that appears, select the Activity you want to reassign.

  5. Select Reassign Activity and select Assign to a Group or Assign to a User, depending on your preference.
  6. Select a Group or User from the dropdown list and click Reassign.

    The following happens:

    • If the Activity was assigned but not yet started, it disappears from the Assigned list of all members of the Group, and appears in the Assigned list of the User you selected, or of the members of the new Group you selected.
    • If the Activity was already started by a User, it disappears from that User's Started list.
    • If the Activity was already started and you assigned it to another User, it appears in that User's Started list.
    • If the Activity was already started and you assigned it to a Group, it appears in the Assigned list of all members of that Group.
