Replacing an image in a format area with a managed image
Use the Image button to replace an image on the webpage with a managed image (stored in Content Manager).
Procedure
- In Content Manager Explorer, navigate to and open the Component that contains the format area with the image you want to replace.
- In the format area, select the image.
- In the Format ribbon tab, select Image.
- In the dialog that opens, click the Browse button.
- In the Select Item dialog that opens, do one of the following:
- Under Favorites, find a Folder that contains the image (as a Multimedia Component) that you want to insert.
- Under Favorites, find a Category and then select a Keyword associated with the image (as a Multimedia Component) that you want to insert.
- Under Building Blocks, navigate to a Folder that contains the image (as a Multimedia Component) that you want to insert.
- Under Categories and Keywords, find a Category and then select a Keyword associated with the image (as a Multimedia Component) that you want to insert.
- If you want to see or change the alignment, size and other advanced settings of the replacement image, select Advanced.
- Click OK.
- In the format area, reveal the new image (which appears by default as a box) by selecting Load Images from the Format ribbon tab.
