Content Manager database server support history
The Content Manager database in SDL Tridion Sites 9.5 has a number of changed software prerequisites compared to the databases in SDL Web 8.5, SDL Tridion Sites 9 or SDL Tridion Sites 9.1. If your current version of Oracle or SQL Server is not supported, you need to upgrade your Oracle or SQL Server before upgrading the Content Manager databases.
In the following table: N=not supported, Y=supported, Dr=Dropped (support is definitely dropped in the following version release), P=Probably dropped (support is probably dropped in the following version release):
