A core installation of SDL Web requires you to create a number of Content Delivery databases.
- Content Delivery database prerequisites
This topic lists the required and supported software for all Content Delivery databases. - Creating the Content Data Store for Content Delivery
This section explains how to install and configure the Content Data Store, the repository containing published content that the Content Delivery server uses. - Creating the Experience Manager database
This section explains how to install and configure the Experience Manager database, the repository containing published and edited content that Experience Manager uses. Note that the procedure for installing an Experience Manager database is identical to that for installing a Content Data Store as a database. - Creating the Discovery Service database
This section explains how to install and configure the Discovery Service database, the repository that contains information about the various Content Delivery Capabilities and where to find them. Note that the procedure for installing a Discovery Service database is identical to that for installing a Content Data Store as a database. - Creating the State Store database
If you followed the default instructions for creating the Content Data Store, you have already created the State Store database and you can skip this section. However, if you did not run the commands that create State Store database tables, follow these instructions to create the State Store database separately. The State Store database is used by the Content Deployer.
