Software components installed by the Content Manager installer
A list of software components that you can install using the Content Manager installer. By default, the Content Manager installer installs core Content Manager software components, but not nonessential features or legacy features.
Core software components

Software component Description Audience Manager Web service Used for importing and exporting Contacts to and from an external system. Mailer service A feature to send out the mailings to the SMTP Gateway server(s). GUI Extensions Adds Audience Manager and Outbound E-mail to the Content Manager Explorer. Software component Description CME Translation Manager Extensions Adds Translation Manager to the Content Manager Explorer. Translation Manager Service Synchronizes data (translation jobs and items in translations jobs) between the translation management system and Content Manager.
