Adding Segment trigger resources to Audience Manager
Add resources to the SDL Web Audience Manager synchronization service to enable updating of the Segments trigger.
Procedure
- On the target machine, navigate to the services\ subfolder of the Audience Manager synchronization service root location.
- Create a subfolder called, for example, experienceoptimization\, to store Experience Optimization library files in.
- Find and access your SDL Web installation media (not your Experience Optimization installation media).
- From the SDL Web installation media, copy all files in Content Delivery\roles\api\rest\java\lib\ to this newly created folder.
- Access the Experience Optimization installation media.
- From the Experience Optimization installation media, copy all files in Content Delivery\roles\synchronization\experience-optimization\lib\ to your newly created folder.
- On the target machine, navigate to the config\ subfolder of the Audience Manager synchronization service root location.
- From the Experience Optimization installation media, copy the file Content Delivery\roles\synchronization\experience-optimization\config\cd_client_conf.xml to the config\ subfolder.
- From the configuration location of your Query Service, copy smarttarget_conf.xml to the config\ subfolder.
- Open cd_client_conf.xml for editing and configure it to point to the SDL Web Content Delivery Discovery Endpoint, providing values for the
ClientIdandClientSecretattributes as needed. - Uninstall, then reinstall, the Audience Manager synchronization service.
