Promotions
A Promotion defines the targeted content to display in a Page Region of a Web site.
- Defining Promotions
When you define a Promotion, you specify: the Web site Publication and Page Region where you want the Promotion to appear, what content you want to display in the Promotion and when you want the Promotion to be triggered. - Promotion states
A Promotion can be: Valid, Invalid, Disabled, or Changed BluePrint Hierarchy. - Filtering a list of Promotions
You can filter the Promotions displayed in a list. - Editing a Promotion
Use Experience Manager to validate whether your Promotion behaves as intended, and if required edit a Promotion to refine behavior. - Setting Promotion priority
Drag-and-drop Promotions to a location higher or lower in the Promotion List to change priority. - Fixing invalid Promotions
A Promotion is invalid if a Publication, Page Region, Trigger, or Content is incorrectly configured or no longer exists. - Deleting a Promotion
Delete a Promotion in the Promotion List to remove it from the system. - Enabling a Promotion
Enable a Promotion to make it available for selection in a query. - Disabling a Promotion
Disable a Promotion in the Promotion List to take it offline. - Duplicating Promotions
Duplicate a Promotion when you want to recreate a Promotion using a similar set of conditions in the same Web site. - Filtering and ordering content
Filtering allows you finer-grained control on what content items to show, based on Component attributes or the current visitors context.
