Creating a project

The Basic Setup Guide, located in the Home tab, walks you through the necessary steps of setting up a project.

Before you begin

Before you create a project, you need to have the following set up:
  • Locales
  • Content
  • Linkage (unless you are creating a project for editing an asset)
  • Users
  • Workflow

Procedure

  1. Click the Explorer tab to display the Explorer.
  2. From the left side of the Explorer, navigate to the folder that contains the source folder or asset on which you want to base your project.
  3. On the right side of the Explorer, select the source folder or assets for your project.
  4. Click Project > Create Project.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. When the Create Project window appears, click OK.
