After you request a quote or an update to a quote, the Client Manager scopes the job and provides a quote document; it also changes the quote status to Pending Approval. Once the terms and details are acceptable, you can approve a submitted quote from the Home or Edit Quote page.
Procedure
- From the Quotes or Edit Quote page, click
next to the quote status.
Note that the Client Manager has to change a quote status from Requested to Pending Approval before you can approve the quote.
- In the Approve Quote confirmation dialog box, click OK to approve the quote.
Once the quote status is changed to
Approved, you can create a project based on this quote.
Note: To approve quotes, you must have the Can Update Quotes permission. The Edit Quote page only displays if you have this permission.
