When you cancel files in TransPort, you cancel the translation tasks associated with the files, and the tasks are canceled from the project for all users. If there is only one file in the project, the entire project may be canceled. Note that this capability depends on your user permissions.
Procedure
- In the Projects page, select a project.
- In the Edit Project page, select a file from the File Monitor section.
- Click Cancel.
- Click Include in project cost calculation option if you want the task included in the overall project scope report.
For example, if the file was not translated, the task can be excluded from the project scope report. However, if the file was translated and then canceled, the cost of translating this file should be included in the project scope report.
- In the Cancel File dialog box, click OK to cancel the file.
TransPort updates the status of the file (or project with only one file) to Canceled.
