Creating a Top-level Client Directory
Before you begin
A mount is one of the top level folders in the asset interface system that results from configuring a connector to point to a specific repository.
Choose the method that best suits your organization's requirements:
- Use an existing mount or create a new mount. See Configuring the Mount.
- Create a new folder using the WorldServer Explorer. See Creating a Directory Structure.
An administrator can set up a top-level directory/mount that can be used to list all client subdirectories and folders. When the default client directory/mount is defined, WorldServer lists user-specified client names as subdirectories or folders within that directory/mount. For example, if a Client Manager creates a client called the ABC Company and selects Clients as the top-level directory/mount, the ABC Company becomes a subfolder under Clients, as shown.
