Information for Reviewing

In WorldServer, the reviewer role is interpreted in different ways:
  • A reviewer can be a person who does a thorough review of translated content.
  • A reviewer can be a person who monitors the steps of a workflow to check that steps have been completed.
By reviewer, this guide means the former: the person who does a segment-by-segment review of the translated content.

Often, this reviewer uses the same translation tool that the translator used. If you use the WorldServer Browser Workbench or another tool such as SDL Trados Studio 2019, read the "Translating" section to learn about the translation workbench, and read the "General Instructions for Using WorldServer" section to learn how to manipulate assets and participate in workflows.

If you review the content without the aid of a translation tool, you need to read General Instructions for Using WorldServer to learn how to manipulate assets and participate in workflows.
