Putting Useful Links on the Home Page
Useful links are URLs that are displayed on the WorldServer Home tab. You can provide links to corporate style guides, glossaries, and so on. Configure useful links in .
When you create a useful link, you need to specify the locales, workgroups, and workflow roles to which the link applies. For example:
- You can select all items in each category to make sure that all members of each of those groups (essentially, all users) see the link. You might choose this item if you are publishing a link to a standards document that applies to all WorldServer users.
- You can choose just one locale, for example, if you are publishing a link to a style guide for just one language. You might, in fact, want to make links available to style guides for each language you work with.
- If you define workgroups by industry (for example, automotive, financial, and so on), you can selectively publish links to guidelines for users working with documents related to each of those industries.
