Standard Project View

The standard project view lists projects according to the option selected in the Project View list:
  • projects assigned to me – Lists the active projects that have at least one task assigned to you.
  • projects for clients I manage – Lists the active projects for all clients of which you are the Client Manager.
  • projects for clients I am a member of – Lists the active projects for all clients of which you are a member.
  • projects for my locales and workgroups – Lists the active projects for which both the locales and workgroups are part of your user profile.
  • active projects – Lists all active projects in the system; that is, all projects that are not completed or canceled.
  • completed and canceled projects – Lists all projects that are either completed or canceled and have not been garbage collected yet.
Using Workflow Type, you can further restrict the listed projects by selecting:
  • All – Lists all projects in the Project View you selected.
  • Asset Based – Lists all projects whose workflow is of type Asset Based in the Project View you selected.
  • Term Based – Lists all projects whose workflow is of type Term Based in the Project View you selected.
  • Quote Based – Lists all projects whose workflow is of type Quote Based in the Project View you selected. Note that certain controls like Tree View and columns like Translated Words, do not display.
Project Actions. From the Project view, you can access the task list for a given project and perform a number of actions on the project. Note that Asset-based project actions vary from Term or Quote-based actions. The following table lists the available actions for each project type.

Select one or more of the following options:
  • To view projects in a tree view, select the Tree view check box.
  • To perform an action on a project, select the project and click the appropriate button.
  • To view the task list for a particular project, click the project name link.
  • To create custom attributes, go to Management > Administration > Customization > Attributes.

Default Visible Columns. Using Choose Columns, you can add or hide any of the available columns, as well as any previously defined custom project attributes. The following table lists the default columns based on the type of project.
