Task Issue Log

Issues are problems that arise when you are working on a task that you need to track. Issues can be associated with a particular task (task issues), or can be assigned to a user or workflow role (independent issues):
  • To log a task issue, click the Issues link for the appropriate task. A task issue remains with the task while the task progresses through the workflow steps. Modify and close issues on the Assignments > Issues page.
  • To log an independent issue, you do so in the issues list.

During the translation process, the translator determines that there is a problem in the original source text that should be fixed. To log this issue, the translator creates an issue associated with the task. Because this issue only involves a task, and is not related to any particular user, log a task issue from the Task List. Another problem arises: The marketing manager reports a missing graphic on one of the Spanish Web site's pages. Because there is no current project or task associated with this problem, log an independent issue from the issues list.
