When creating workflow, you can specify individual users or workflow roles. Using workflow roles allows you to specify a group of users in one click instead of having to select each user. It also decreases workflow maintenance, because it allows you to reuse a workflow for multiple locales with multiple users. Create workflow roles in .
When a task is assigned to multiple users, one of the users claims the task to indicate that she will perform the necessary action (for example, translate) for the task. See the WorldServer User Guide for more information.
Example
You work with French, Spanish, and Japanese translators (each of whom is a member of the appropriate locale). Create a Translator workflow role that includes all the translators. Then, design a workflow for translation projects that specifies the Translator workflow role as the assignee. In other words, you do not have to design three separate workflows, one for each locale. Now you can reuse the same workflow for different locales. When you create a project that needs to be translated into one of the three languages, you can use the same workflow for the three projects (or project group).
