Working with Lock Types

When you use the Lock Segments and Unlock Segments actions, you need to configure the Lock Mode on the Translate and Review human steps, choosing one of the following modes:
  • No locking indicates that locks are ignored. This is the default lock type for human steps.
  • Static locking restricts the human from adding or removing any locks. This mode is useful when you don’t want a translator to modify existing locks.
  • Dynamic locking allows the human to lock and unlock segments. This mode is useful when you want to enforce locks, while allowing a reviewer to add new locks or remove existing locks.
