Working with Notifications

When a human step in a workflow executes, task assignees are notified and can claim the task. These notifications must be configured by your administrator, who must have set up your email address in your user profile and must have set up the delivery mechanism and content template for the messages.

Additionally, business rule-generated notification email messages can inform you of changes to assets or tasks nearing due date and time, or overdue. You may want to be informed of changes to your source assets so you know when projects need to be created, or to be informed of changes to a localized version to monitor progress. The administrator can enable you to set up notifications in Management > Business Rule Linkage > Rules. Check the rule Email the list of assets (for detected assets) and Email task events or Email task step events (for tasks) rules.
