Working With Projects

At this point, you have a workflow, which describes how to accomplish work, and you have two assets to be translated. You have also set up the appropriate locales and linkage. To initiate the actual translation, create a project:
  1. In the WorldServer Explorer, select the assets to be translated.
  2. Click Project > Create Project.
  3. In the Create Project wizard:
    1. Provide a project, name, for example, My Simple Translation Project.
    2. Select the target locales, for example, French, Japanese, and Spanish.
    3. Select a Workgroup, for example, default.
    4. On the next page, select a workflow for each target locale. In this case, select Simple Translation Workflow.
    5. Click Create Project.
WorldServer creates a project group, consisting of three projects (one project for each target locale). Each project consists of two tasks, one for each asset to translate. These relationships are shown in the following table:
