Create a Transport project
You need to perform several tasks before creating a new Transport project.
To create a project you complete the following steps:
- Specify general project information
- Enter additional project information, such as a P.O. number (a customized project attribute set by an administrator)
- Choose due dates and locales
- Choose and upload files included in the project
If you create a project from an approved quote, keep in mind:
- TransPort lists the quote associated with the project in the Quote column on the Projects page.
- After saving the project, you cannot change the association with the approved quote.
If custom project attributes and/or custom complete folder hierarchy properties have been set by an administrator, there is an additional step for adding information related to that custom attribute. This additional step occurs between general project information and adding due dates and locales.
