The original worksheet name will be used.

Common page

Available options are:

Comments
You can extract comments for translation or skip them.
Headers and footers
You can extract headers and footers for translation or skip them.
Hidden content (columns, rows, columns, sheets)
You can extract these for translation or skip them.
Alternative text for graphics
Alternative text corresponds to the Alt HTML attribute. You can extract alternative text for translation or skip it.
Document properties
Document properties include the document's author, its creation date, and so on. You can extract these properties for translation or ignore them.
Treat special characters as inline placeholder tags
Examples of special characters are non-breaking space, tab, and discretionary hyphen. You can treat these characters as text or as tags. If you select this check box, they are put into inline tags. Em dashes and en dashes are always treated as text.
Extract hidden text for translation
You can extract hidden text or ignore it.
Skip complex scripts and Asian text font

This has an effect only on Microsoft Windows computers that have Asian language support installed. If Asian text font is displayed, formatting information is provided by inserting a <cf> (control formatting) tag in the output text. A large number of such tags can be distracting for translators. If Asian text font is not displayed, Asian elements in the <cf> tags are switched off and superfluous <cf> tags are hidden.

Skip advanced font formatting (tracking, kerning, etc.)
Include (or skip) advanced font formatting. Advanced font formatting covers such features as character spacing (tracking, kerning) and line spacing (leading). You can include advanced formatting in the translation or ignore it.
Extract Hyperlinks
Select this check box to make all parts of the hyperlink element available to the translator, including the hyperlink itself.
Extract Alternative Text for translation
Alternative text corresponds to the Alt HTML attribute. You can extract alternative text for translation or skip it.
Apply Track Changes before opening
Choose how to handle documents with tracked changes. If you select this check box, tracked changes are accepted automatically. If you clear it, pending tracked changes are displayed as such.
Extract custom numbering
Select this check box to process custom number format codes and make them available for translation.
Extract mathematical expressions
Extracts the mathematical expressions.
Extract optional hyphens
The placement of discretionary hyphens depends on the structure and pronunciation of the words in the source language, so you should usually choose to remove rather than extract them.
Extract contents of embedded Excel charts and sheets
In Microsoft Word, you can insert an Excel spreadsheet into a Word document. If you select this check box, the embedded spreadsheets are extracted.
Retain Studio target comments in target file
Any comments added to the target segments during translation will appear in the final generated document.
Process locked content controls
Extracts for translation all the controls which have been set as locked. Content controls prevent editing or deleting parts of a document. For example, your document might contain check boxes or drop-down lists that the author set as locked, but that you might want to translate.
List item values
Extracts for translation the values of the control items. For example, the option in a drop-down list may have a value associated with it. This value is stored internally and, in some cases, you may need to translate it.
Master view content
When selected, the content of your presentation is extracted in the following order:
  1. Handout master
  2. Note master
  3. Slide master content
  4. Slide layout content
  5. Slide content
  6. Notes
Headers and footers
Include headers and footers for translation or skip them.
Notes
Include notes for translation or skip them.
Hidden content (shapes and slides)
Include hidden content for translation or skip it.
Alternative text
Alternative text corresponds to the Alt HTML attribute. You can include alternative text for translation or skip it.
Hyperlinks
Select this check box to make all parts of the hyperlink element available to the translator, including the hyperlink itself.
Comments
Include comments for translation or skip them.
Embedded Excel charts and sheets
Select this check box to have embedded Excel charts and sheets extracted.
