Importing your certificate
Importing your certificate is the first step towards deploying SDL Online Editor on HTTPS.
Procedure
- In Windows, go to Start > Run.
- In the Run window, next to Open, enter mmc and select OK.
Microsoft Management Console is opened.
- In Microsoft Management Console, go to File > Add/Remove Snap-in.
- Under Available snap-ins, select Certificates, and then select Add.
- In the Certificates snap-in dialog box, select Computer account > Next > Local computer > Finish.
- Select OK to close the Add or Remove Snap-ins dialog box.
- Expand the Certificates (Local Computer) node, right-click Personal, and then select All Tasks > Import.
- In the Certificate Import Wizard, do the following:
- Select Next.
- Under File to Import, select Browse and locate your .pfx certificate file.
Note: Make sure that you select the Personal Information Exchange (*.pfx, *.p12) extension.
- Select Next.
- Enter the password you used when the .pfx file was generated, select the Mark this key as exportable check box, and then select Next.
- Select Place all certificates in the following store and Certificate store: Personal, and then select Next and Finish.
- Right-click the certificate you imported and select Copy.
- Expand the Trusted Root Certification Authorities node, and then right-click Certificates and select Paste.
