Importing your certificate

Importing your certificate is the first step towards deploying SDL Online Editor on HTTPS.

Procedure

  1. In Windows, go to Start > Run.
  2. In the Run window, next to Open, enter mmc and select OK.
    Microsoft Management Console is opened.
  3. In Microsoft Management Console, go to File > Add/Remove Snap-in.
  4. Under Available snap-ins, select Certificates, and then select Add.
  5. In the Certificates snap-in dialog box, select Computer account > Next > Local computer > Finish.
  6. Select OK to close the Add or Remove Snap-ins dialog box.
  7. Expand the Certificates (Local Computer) node, right-click Personal, and then select All Tasks > Import.
  8. In the Certificate Import Wizard, do the following:
    1. Select Next.
    2. Under File to Import, select Browse and locate your .pfx certificate file.
    3. Select Next.
    4. Enter the password you used when the .pfx file was generated, select the Mark this key as exportable check box, and then select Next.
    5. Select Place all certificates in the following store and Certificate store: Personal, and then select Next and Finish.
  9. Right-click the certificate you imported and select Copy.
  10. Expand the Trusted Root Certification Authorities node, and then right-click Certificates and select Paste.
