To change Tasks Assignees

You can change the Assignees of one or more Project Tasks at any time using the Change Task Assignees dialog box.

Procedure

  1. In the Change Task Assignees dialog box, you can select the workflow step for which to change the Assignees in the For Workflow Step list. In this screen, you can:
    • Expand/Collapse the Users and Roles pane by clicking or
    • Quick search for the desired user or role by typing the Name box
    • Filter which roles to display
    • Toggle cell content wrapping, using the button
    • Select/Deselect all users
    • Use pagination to navigate more easily
    • Refresh all records
    • Choose how many records to display, by selecting a value from the Show list.
  2. You can filter which Assignees to see by clicking the Users or Roles tabs. Select which user/role you want to add to your current Task. The selected users and roles are displayed in the Users and Roles pane. Existing users and roles are highlighted in blue, while newly added users and roles are highlighted in green.
  3. To remove users and roles, click next to an existing or newly added user or role.
  4. Click Apply to preserve your settings and then you can move to the next workflow step for which you want to change the Assignees. When finished, click OK.
