Examples - custom workflow templates
This topic provides some examples of how you can configure custom workflow templates.
Example 1: Focus on Automated tasks
You can create such a workflow if you are translating files which are extremely predictable, which you have translated several times before, and which need minimum checking at the end.
Example 2: Review is performed before Translation
You can create such a workflow if your customer wants you to review an already translated text, and based on your findings to translate it further or to validate the existing translation.
Example 3: Two Translation rounds performed by different translators
You can create such a workflow if in addition to a regular translation-review round, you want a different translation round for transcreation purposes (cultural adaptation, for example).
- You create a custom Human task of the Translation type and you integrate it in your custom workflow template. In the example below, this task is called "Translation 2 (n round)".
- You do not create a custom Human task of the Translation type, but, while you are building your custom workflow template, you add a Translation (new) task. Rename this task inline.
Example 4: Multiple TM Update rounds
You can create workflows where the TM Update automated task is performed after Translation, and then after Linguistic Review.
