Trados Enterprise

Access this page for the second batch of February-March 2021 updates. The enhancements include:
  • HTML 5 Preview in Trados Online Editor
  • XML Preview in Trados Online Editor for all XML v2 file types
  • Other Preview capabilities in Trados Online Editor for:
    • Microsoft Visio
    • Bilingual Excel
    • ODP & ODS
    • PO
    • CSV
    • (Tab) Delimited Text
  • MT integration
    • Amazon Translate MT
    • DeepL Translator MT
  • Batch download the files of all your accepted tasks (of the same task type) for the following tasks types: Translation, Linguistic Review, Implement Customer Review, Engineering, DTP, Final Check
  • Pricing and Quoting
    • Copy translation costs and additional language costs across multiple languages
    • Paste translation costs and additional language costs across multiple languages
  • Miscellaneous enhancements
    • Cancelling files in a project now removes associated costs from the quote.
    • Error tasks that are force completed from the Stages tab, will now be retried instead.
    • Resolved various issues related to webhooks, project report download, Online Editor.
Access this page for the first batch of February-March 2021 updates. The enhancements include:
  • Pricing and Quoting
    • Costs tab per project: When you open a project, you can use the Costs tab to manage customer quotes and to view vendor quotes. The Customer Quote report is no longer available in the Reports tab, but can be downloaded from the Costs tab.
    • Conditional Costs: You can now specify conditional costs on a pricing model and during quote review, this allows for percentage, relative and absolute costs.
  • TM Maintenance Editor - Batch editing enables you to find and replace content (with or without applying a RegEx), fields, and tags.
  • Engineering tasks can now be vendor enabled.
  • File download menu differentiates between the current file version and the target file version. You can download one or all project files.
  • Various enhancements:
    • When adding *.sdlxliff source files to projects, the system prompts the user to change the files if the source-target languages of the files do not match those of the project.
    • Project names can have up to 100 characters, instead of 50.
    • The Allow editing of source text in segments check box in project settings is disabled by default.
    • In Trados Online Editor, there is now a filter dropdown for comments, helping you differentiate between source, target, and segment comments.

Trados Customer Portal

Access this page for the February-March 2021 updates. The enhancements include:
  • Due Dates - When the project due date is updated in Trados Enterprise, the change can also be seen in Trados Customer Portal. For clarity, users can consult the dates shown in these fields: Due Date and Requested Delivery Date.
  • Dashboard Statistics - The Dashboard view now also shows locked segments.
  • Folder Structure - When uploading a *.zip folder, its internal structure is preserved throughout the project lifecyle. The translated files observe the same folder structure as the source.
