Managing transitions in custom workflow templates
You can manage both default transitions (or outcomes) and custom transitions (or outcomes).
- Viewing transitions (outcomes)
When you hover over a task block, the incoming transition of the block is highlighted with pink color, while the exit transition of the block is highlighted with blue color. - Adding custom transitions (outcomes)
You can add transitions (outcomes) while creating or editing a custom workflow template which has the DRAFT status. - Editing custom transitions (outcomes)
You can edit the name of the custom transitions (outcomes) which are associated with custom Human tasks. You can edit the name of custom transitions if the custom workflow template has the DRAFT status. - Deleting custom transitions (outcomes)
You can delete the custom transitions (outcomes) which are associated with custom Human tasks. When deleting custom transitions, the effect is immediate, and the system does not ask you to confirm your choice. You can delete custom transitions if the custom workflow template has the DRAFT status. - Changing tasks via transitions (outcomes)
You can break the transition between 2 tasks included in a custom workflow template if that custom workflow template has the DRAFT status. - Detaching tasks via transitions (outcomes)
You can break the transition (outcome) between 2 tasks included in a custom workflow template and insert a task immediately after the first task, if that custom workflow template has the DRAFT status.
