Trados Enterprise batch 2
The May 2021 release (batch 2) introduces new features and enhancements:
- Custom Workflow Editor
- Enable tasks for vendor assignment
- Copy default workflow templates
- upLIFT Fragment Recall is now available in Trados Online Editor when performing lookups.
- Various 3rd-party grammar and spell checker add-ons are available for Trados Online Editor.
- A Postman Collection is now available for the Public API.
Trados Enterprise batch 1
The May 2021 release introduces new features and enhancements.
New Features - The Visual Workflow Editor feature enables you to create custom workflow templates. You can now:
- Create workflows, project templates, and projects from default workflow templates and custom workflow templates.
- Build custom workflow templates by sequencing tasks, configuring task transitions, looping tasks, and grouping tasks in phases.
- Create custom Human tasks based on pre-defined task types.
- Integrate custom Automated tasks from our Professional Services or form third-parties.
For full support for projects with a custom workflow , it is recommended to upgrade to Trados Studio 2021 SR1 CU5. Earlier versions of Studio 2021 will not correctly display custom task names. Studio 2019 will support the full roundtrip with Packages only.
Enhancements
- RWS rebranding - Translation Management has now been rebranded to RWS Language Cloud Translation Management to reflect the integration of SDL into the RWS Group.
- The Remove Tracked Changes and Comments task is included in the "Translation & Customer Review" and "Translation & Customer Review & DTP" default workflow templates. The new task accepts all tracked changes, all TQA information, and removes all comments to provide customer reviewers with a clean file they can review.
- The project file download options are simplified.
- The Memsource XLIFF file type is now available.
- Various bug fixes around email notifications and Automated Connectors are now available.
