Trados Enterprise

The April 2022 release introduces the following features and enhancements:
  • When dealing with duplicates or homonyms in Trados Terminology, you can now choose to save the duplicate entry as a brand new entry or merge it with an existing entry.
  • When creating projects or adding files for started projects, you can now also add *.sdlppx extensions (packages).
  • When tasks are assigned to different assignees, you can now assign them to the same assignee or assignees in one go from the project > Stages tab.
  • When working with Self-Service Reporting, you can now rename and edit the description of workspaces and custom reports.
  • When you create custom reports (via Self-Service Reporting), you can now use several additional data sets that contain metrics relating to edit distance and TQA.
  • When you create projects or add files for started projects, the system automatically identifies any corrupt or infected file during the File Type Detection task.
  • All XML v1 file types will be deprecated in both Trados Studio 2022 and Trados Enterprise over the course of 2022. Existing projects will not be impacted by this change. All custom XML v1-based file types must be migrated to the XML v2 format using the Trados Studio application at the earliest convenience.
  • The Created By field is now included when a translator or vendor translator opens a file or project from their Inbox.
  • The product offer/subscription associated with a tenant is now visible from the Manage Account area.

Trados Customer Portal

  • When you create projects or add files for started projects, you can specify target languages per file by toggling on the Advanced view menu.

Trados Online Editor

  • If you work in Trados Online Editor on a file, you can open the next file you own straight from Trados Online Editor without needing to go back to Trados Enterprise.
